“My hope over the coming weeks is to make it easy for you to see all the great material from the ACG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting. The first of those very special moments was the Emily Couric lecture by the incomparable Katie Couric.”
It’s my honor to speak to you as this year’s ACG President. Well, did you see our virtual ACG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting? I know a lot of you did!! You’ve shared through your feedback that you thought the Annual Meeting was innovative, impactful and, in short, impressive.
I want to personally thank each and everyone of you who made your way to the virtual platform and took in the postgraduate course, the symposia, the plenary sessions, the posters and so much more.
We may not have been Nashville but we made our own sort of music. Music? That reminds me to sound the horns for the incomparable ACG team for pulling the whole thing off. A truly remarkable effort to bring everything together and at such a professional level.
My hope over the coming weeks is to make it easy for you to see all the great material from the meeting. The first of those very special moments was the Emily Couric Memorial Lecture, this year given by the incomparable Katie Couric as she was interviewed by then President Mark Pochapin.
I look forward to bringing more of these meeting highlights in the weeks to come, but for now, click on the link and enjoy this year’s Emily Couric lecture and Katie Couric’s unique insights and perspectives.
Stay safe everyone,
David A. Greenwald, MD, FACG, ACG President
