ACG Courses and Meetings

CME is available for up to 3 years following a course or meeting.

MOC: The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all 2022 ACG Regional Courses, the ACG 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting, Postgraduate Course, and optional Friday Courses is March 1, 2023. The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all 2021 ACG Regional Courses was March 1, 2022. The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in the ACG 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting, Postgraduate Course, and optional Friday Courses was April 29, 2022. The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all 2020 ACG Regional Courses, the ACG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting, Postgraduate Course, and optional Friday Courses was March 1, 2021. The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all 2019 ACG Regional Courses, the ACG 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting, Postgraduate Course, and optional Friday Courses was March 1, 2020. Unfortunately, we are not able to make exceptions to these deadlines.

MOC

The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all ACG 2021 courses in Las Vegas was April 29, 2022. The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all ACG 2020 virtual courses was March 1, 2021. The deadline for claiming MOC points for participation in all ACG 2019 courses in San Antonio was March 1, 2020. Unfortunately, we are not able to make exceptions to these deadlines.

How to Obtain MOC Points for ACG Annual Meetings

Participants who wish to receive MOC points for their participation in ACG Annual Meetings must FIRST complete their meeting evaluation and claim the CME credit commensurate with their participation.

Evaluations for CME can only be completed online. Click on the Annual Meeting logo above for the appropriate year to access the online evaluation. Access to the MOC assessment is only provided AFTER completing the course evaluation and claiming CME credit.

Participants are asked to reflect on and summarize what they have learned and indicate what they will do differently, stop doing, or keep doing in their practice with more confidence relative to identified key learning objectives from the course. A minimum of 2-3 sentences is required for an acceptable submission. All assessments are reviewed. Awarded MOC points will be removed if responses do not meet the passing standard. Participants are required to enter their 6-digit ABIM ID number and date of birth to submit their completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. A message indicating a successful submission is displayed. Please allow up 2-3 business days for your MOC credit to appear on your ABIM account at www.abim.org/. If there is a problem with the submission, participants should follow the instructions in the prompt to re-submit or contact ACG at education@gi.org for assistance.

Regional Courses

CME

The deadline for claiming CME and MOC points credit for participation in all 2022 Virtual Grand Rounds is March 1, 2023. Unfortunately, we are not able to make exceptions to this deadline.

2021 and 2020 Virtual Grand Rounds

The deadline for claiming CME and MOC points credit for participation in all 2021 Virtual Grand Rounds was March 1, 2022. The deadline for claiming CME and MOC points credit for participation in all 2020 Virtual Grand Rounds was March 1, 2021. Unfortunately, we are not able to make exceptions to these deadlines.

ABIM Deadlines

Please complete your ACG CME evaluation and ABIM MOC assessment as soon as possible after an activity.

ABIM Board Certified physicians need to complete their 2022 MOC activities by December 31, 2022 in order for the MOC points to count toward any MOC requirements that are due by the end of the year.

ABIM will accept participant completion data for activities held in 2021 until March 1, 2022. No ABIM MOC credit may be awarded after March 1, 2022 for any ACG CME activity held in 2021.

Any ABIM Board Certified physician who experiences a negative status change as a direct result of insufficient MOC points will have their status adjusted once the required number of points has been earned.
